This is the FL1 which was Roy Lawler's first Flugelhorn model in his line. This is #24! It is the "French" model with .337 bore like the Couesnon and Yamaha bore.The horn is Satin Gold with no dents or ugly scratches. There is a shiny mark where someone's ring rubbed the Satin where the hand holds the bell, but plating is in tact. See pics! It isn't a scratch just where plating is shiny and not Satin. It's the last pic. This is just what happens to Satin finished brass, if you rub it, it becomes polished and not Satin!This horn has the German VMI valve section that Roy used at that time. They are impeccable and built like a piece of jewelry. It also has the best third slide trigger assembly ever made and is all brass as well as gold plated. It comes with standard gold caps and a set of raw brass heavy caps, I only used one on the third valve. It's up to you!I never dreamed I'd be selling this horn, but life changes! I have quit playing due to tinnitus and I just can't afford for it to sit around. If I ever could play again, I'd buy this exact horn it's the best flugelhorn I have ever played, and these are quite rare and hard to find, so hope you get it! I have no case as I used a triple bag, but it comes with the Lawler tarnish bag, and it will be packed and shipped properly and insured.
