- solid spruce top with wooden fishbone eddge and maple binding, gorgeous inlayed soundhole made of pearl, abalone in an ebony ring surrounded by fishbone edge and purfling rings - all solid parlor size maple body with laquered varnish !! (lower bout 31cm, center bout 18,4cm, upper bout 24cm), sides hight 7,5-8cm, solid sides, solid onepiece back
- blackened mahogany neck with shafted-on open headstock, blackened mahogany fingerboard with 18 frets, ebony nut, nut width 44mm
6pin mahogany bridge, ebony pins with pearl eyes
original tuners with bone pegs
ebony strap button with parisian eye The guitar is fully playable with good string action (3,9mm (E1) on 12th fret) for a historic guitar.
The guitar and its varnish are showing normal and authentic signs of the time and playing - most on the top. The unique fake-grain shellac varnish also is in age related good condition
Except a (well done) repair on the sides (left cnter bot area) there are no cracks or damages on this fine guitar
The fingerboard is showing no signs of playing. The frets are without signs of playing, too. and were rounded in the near past. The fingerboard was cleaned and oiled
