Ibanez have never been one for subtlety with their Premium instruments! The RG1070PBZ-CBB sports a highly figured Poplar Burl top, American Basswood Body and a gorgeous Cerulean Blue Burst finish. Natural side and top binding seals the body in elegant style. An 11-piece Wizard Neck provides the stability and support that heavy rock shredders need - layered to perfection for speed and comfort. Carefully crafted from Wenge, Bubinga, Maple and Purple Heart, the renowned Wizard neck offers an unrivalled playing experience. A Wenge fretboard provides tight, controlled response. Stainless jumbo frets with Premium fret edge treatment provide a bright and detailed top end, aiding fast fretting too. Ibanez have also incorpirated a Luminescent side dot inlay, so you can always find your way in dark stage environments. DiMarzio Pickups The trademark Ibanez sound is centered around a set of super-hot pickups with bags of gain. The RG1070PBZ-CBB is fitted out with a DiMarzio Air Norton Humbucker at the neck, True Velvet Single Coil in the middle, and a Tone Zone Humbucker at the bridge. The HSH combination offers the depth, warmth and rich dynamics when combined with the 5-way pickup switch. Complete tonal versatility to shape tone however you see fit. This model adopts Belden wiring material and copper shielding inside its control cavity, so noiseless sound can be expected. Edge-Zero II Hardware Package The RG1070PBZ-CBB features an Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge with ZPS3Fe. Gotoh MG-T locking machineheads and Cosmo Black hardware finishing puts a contrasting touch on this versatile tone machine.
