Repairman's special BUESCHER BRASS SOUSAPHONEEngraved on the bell "Elkhart Band Instrument Company", which was one of Buescher's trade names.Made in Elkhart, Indiana.Complete with all original parts, but no gooseneck, no tuning bits, no mouthpiece and no case.The original silver plating is speckled and tarnished, but looks like it could be successfully cleaned to look much better.  Some of the silver plating is worn/polished through on the inside of the bell (see photos).No thin spots in the metal, no cracks or damage to the brass, no patches.  This Sousa was made when manufacturers in the USA were using HEAVY good-quality brass!
