As new "Drake" Alto Prototype for David Sanborn #0217001. Rare opportunity to own some history? I believe that this was the first one made for Sanborn to test being that it was 001. I tested it with a protector on for a few minutes and plan to stay with my Drake NY Jazz Hard Rubber Alto mouthpiece instead. I pretty much was hoping my chops could entertain this piece but I guess that I prefer the other. Mouthpiece in perfect condition. Comes with original Drake packaging listing as "DS" for David Sanborn Size #8. Pretty Cool! This piece is made from Pewter like the original Dukoffs were. The sound is definitely Sanborn and made by one of the best ......Aaron Drake! Ya can't beat this deal! No Ligature. None came with it from new.Only a few made! Rare!
