1940 Elkhart Conn 6H Trombone
Estimated price for orientation: 900 $
Category: Trombones
Class:
Description
Dates to about 1940. The horn has been modified to liven up the response and have a faster slide. Slide is straight and needs no repair work at all. A little bit of wear on the stockings (as pictured, doesn't affect playability). Looks like the gooseneck had a bit of repair work done in the past but hardly noticeable.
Has 7 1/2" bell, giving it lots of core to the sound.
I had the bell re-engraved and looks brand new. The horn is strong throughout all registers, plays "hot", good for lead or section work.
Rare, rare.....RARE horn.
Buy it, open it, and start gigging immediately.
