Awesome Vintage Gibson Melody Maker, with the original alligator chipboard case! Guitar is all original except for the bridge, which is a modern adjustable wrap-around unit for better intonation. The Case is a bit worse for the 50+ years of protection it has afforded the guitar, but is repairable,with all 3 latches present and working, and the original carry handle, which is often broken or missing altogether! The truss rod is functioning perfectly, with the neck dead straight, and action at 3/64" at the 12th fret! Needless to say, this guitar plays great all over the fretboard, and in perfect tune, as well! ( I'm talking myself out of this sale!) Shaller/Grover straplocks are on the guitar, but the original plastic buttons are included. I love this little lightweight axe, but finances forces a sale...See photos for cosmetics...never any cracks or breaks! Ask any question you may have. Good Luck!
