This guitar was crafted in Japan and I have added upgrades to it. The tuners are Kluson Locking tuners. The pickguard and pickups were replace with mother of pearl and hot gold lace sensor pickups. The back plate has been replaced with mother of pearl. The guitar did not come with a case but I will provide a case for it. No issues at all because this guitar has not been played but a couple of times to set it up and with the installation of upgraded hardware. I have elixir 9's on it now. I see a majority of Crafted in Japan guitars that are Stratocasters are selling for at least $1100 to $1200 or higher without any upgrades. Great playing and sounding guitar!
