Cleaning out my parts drawer this weekend, and I'm finally giving up this set of H450 / H455 humbuckers made in Joelton, TN by the legendary Tom Holmes. Yes, everything you have heard is true. These pickups are flat-out amazing! Their sound is rich and complex like a great vintage PAF a la Allman / Trucks / 60s Clapton. In fact, I have a set of original PAFs in my RI Les Paul, and the Holmes are the only thing that I've heard that sound as good or as authentic. Note that bridge lead is a bit shorter at ~5.5", which was fine for application (PRS Mira) but obviously would not work in a big hollow-body without extending it. Output, according to my multi-meter -- bridge 8.27 ohms / neck 7.38 ohms. There is some light wear (or "relicing") on the covers as you can see from the pictures. Mounting screws/springs included. If you don't know Holmes or have never heard them, there are plenty of reviews and demos online, so please YouTube and Google them so that you understand how special these are. It really does pain me to let these go...so somebody please make them a good home!
