1931 Martin 0-18, Amazing Sound, No Cracks!
Estimated price for orientation: 4 495 $
Category: Acoustic Guitars
Class:
Description Brand: Martin Exact Year: 1931
The 1930s are generally considered the true golden age of Martin guitars. This 12 fret 0-18, while the original finish certainly has noticeable wear, has somehow escaped having any cracks at all, lacking even the normal pickguard crack. The bar fretted original fingerboard was professionally replaced with one with modern T frets, and the bridge has certainly been off, and (I believe) been replaced with a very fine copy. The sound is truly amazing, and the setup is great, with room to raise or lower the action should that be desired. So, it's one of the very best guitars from the very best period of the very best guitar company. It comes in a modern hard shell case. If you're anywhere near the San Francisco bay area and wish to try it out before bidding, let me know and we'll work something out. Feel free to ask any questions, and thanks for looking!
