This is a gorgeous Tropical Turquoise Eric Johnson model Straocaster in near mint condition. No finish scratches anywhere. Only some light swirl marks on the pickguard. The guitar has a 2-piece alder body with Nitrocellulose finish, beautiful quarter sawn Maple neck also with Nitrocellulose finish and with a bound Rosewood fretboard. The rosewood fret board gives a mellower tone than a maple fretboard. It has staggered tuners, so that no string trees are needed, Other features: A slight v-profile on the back of the 57- style neck, 21 medium-jumbo frets for easy string-bending, 12" neck radius, Scale: 25 1/2". 3-ply white/black/white pickguard. Special Eric Johnson pickups with 3 reverse -wound single-coil pickups to cancel electronic hum. 5 position switch for pickups, One volume knob and two tone controls for neck and bridge pickups. Vibrato arm has never been installed, but is included. The case is cream colored with tan trim and all case candy is included: bridge cover, strap, wrenches, documentation, white swirled guitar cable. Weight is 7 1/2 lbs. Shipping weight with case is 22 lbs. This instrument is a beauty. Quacks like a duck and sings like a wren or screams like a banshee depending on what your mood is. Happy to answer any questions.
