For me, one of the best trumpets for lead-comercial work. Bach 72, light weigh bell, 25-O leadpipe, serial number 385,423. This trumpet can really scream, with a huge sound, and perfect intonation. It has a lively, colorfull sound, may be due to the light weight bell. The valves are very good and compresion is 100%. It has silver loss in some contact points, and there are dings, most of them hard to capture in the photos. There is a patch under the bell, it is so round and nicely installed, that I don't know if it was factory installed. All I know is that there are no signs or corrosion on any of the tubes, so the patch there does not makes sense. I'm really impressed with the responsiveness, easy blow, and easy high register of this Bach 72. I have tried many Bachs 37, 43 and 72 ( with the 25 leadpipe), and this is the first time I find something that can really equals my Schilke B1. I believe that the light bell and 25-O leadpipe are the perfect combination.Trumpet only, no case or mouthpiece!
