Model: Les Paul Classic Model Year: 2005

Here's a 2005 Les Paul Classic, in Cherry Sunburst (Cherryburst?) finish. Very Good condition. I bought it a few years ago, and don't even play it. It just sits in the case. Time to sell it...I included some pics of it. You may notice on the back of the headstock, it doesn't say "Made in USA". In 2005, Gibson didn't put that on the Classic headstock. Check the web. You'll see it's true.Very good condition, but has some scratches, and maybe a ding or two (on the end of the guitar headstock. see pics). I tried to include some good pictures of it, but I don't have as good a camera as I would like. You may see some reflections that look like wear marks, etc., but they are just reflections. There are some very light scratches on the back. I tried to get pictures to show them, but the reflection of the carpet on the floor sort of masked them. The guitar is 12 years old, and has been played, though. It's not perfect, but it is very good. No repairs, and no issues.
The strap holders have been replaced with Dunlop Strap Locks, which is a great idea for any guitar, especially a Les Paul. It was that way when I bought it. As far as I know, the rest of the guitar is stock. As you're probably aware, the classic series is supposed to replicate the guitars Gibson made in the past. This one is supposed to be like a 1960 model. It has "1960" on the pick guard, but the ink is kind of faded. It's sort of hard to see, but it's there. The neck is a 1960's slim taper. I don't know what the pickups are, but they seem a little hot. It has the famous Les Paul rawwk. I don't know how to describe it. Like a Les Paul!
Frets are in good shape, very little, if any fret wear. The case has a few dings, and in one picture, there is some white stuff. I think it's where paint rubbed off on it, or something. Also, you may notice that on the side where the combination is, there's some blue tape. All that's for is to keep the combination from moving. It was like that when I got it, and I never changed it. The combo is set at 0. All the latches work correctly. What you get if you win this auction: the guitar, the case, truss rod tool.    The guitar stand is not includedI think I've covered all that I can think of. If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks!
