What makes this guitar special: A magnificent sounding 12-string dreadnought with clear, bell-like tones & sustain that seems to last for days. A smooth, comfortable neck allows for hours of playing enjoyment. Featuring a 3-piece Brazilian rosewood back & Sitka spruce top that has aged nicely over the past 50 years. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for a 50 year old guitar! Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There's an old repaired crack that runs along the treble side of the body. The crack was professionally glued & cleated, although there is a small portion of missing curfing on the inside (see photos). The outside was refinished after the repair & looks great - a very tight, clean repair job indeed! Overall the guitar has a wonderful, true vintage look to it with a gorgeous patina.Neck: Rounded mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Slotted headstock with rosewood overlay. Six-on-a-side tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 7/8" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard.Body: Slope shoulder dreadnought in natural finish. Solid Sitka spruce top with 6-ply binding. Ebony belly bridge with cream end pins. Black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Brazilian rosewood sides & 3-piece back with 3-ply binding. There is no pickup; guitar weighs 5 lbs 2.9 oz.Case: Original hardshell case included.
