DescriptionThis is a 2000 USA Gibson Les Paul Studio with some major custom upgrades that are Custom Shop quality, including the correct Gold Top Nitro finish.  The original Gold Top powder first used by Gibson in 1952 was a fine bronze powder as opposed to mica powder, and will show a slight green iridescence as do original Les Paul's they are when viewed at an angle.  The top was professionally done in this correct Gold Top Nitro and then aged to perfection to look like a true vintage Les Paul.  But unlike a vintage or Custom Shop Gold Top, you won't need to sell a kidney to own it.The pickups and electronics were pro upgraded to USA Gibson 57 PAF's  and CTS push-pull pots.  You can get single coil tones from these pickups without push-pull pots.  All the work was professionally done and it's as good a factory. There was a headstock repair down, and it's solid and without issues.  Tuners were upgraded to Kluson Deluxe.  The frets are in fantastic shape and have very little wear, and the neck is straight and true and the back of the neck is smooth, not sticky or tacky.  It's light weight (8 pounds, 7 ounces), looks great and has tone to spare.It's everything you'd expect from a USA made Gibson Les Paul.  It's a stellar guitar, and a great player without any  issues.  It's a professional grade guitar that just needs a new home.  It comes with the factory Gibson USA case shown.Shipping to AK, HI and PR is 20.00 more.
