Welcome to my Auction for this very sought after Hofner President that is around sixty years old! The guitar was my fathers that he had and played for many years until he couldn't play anymore, so it's been used and enjoyed so isn't immaculate but still a lovely instrument to own. It's no 170 which makes it even more special. I've tried to picture the guitar the best I could in as much natural light as possible to try and give you the guitar in all its glory!! I've plugged the guitar into an amp and it still works but will probably need an overhaul at some point if you were to take it out on the road so to speak.I've researched the guitar through the Hofner sites and I believe it's from the 1957 to 1959 era as this is the no truss rod model in the neck. It will come with a hard guitar case that was originally used for an acoustic guitar for better transport and I will pad it out to make sure it doesn't move about. Postage is £15.00 uk only.
