Up for auction is a used made in U.S.A. Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH guitar, with a made in U.S.A. Musikraft replacement neck. Details regarding this guitar are as follows; Neck - The original neck for this guitar was removed and sold by me because the neck profile was a bit too thin for my liking. I then ordered and installed the licensed by Fender, Musikraft replacement neck shown in the photos with the following specifications; 2 ¼” neck heel, authentic Charvel 12th fret dot marker spacing, 12 – 16” compound radius fret board, 1 piece quarter sawn hard rock maple neck with Tru-Oil finish, rolled fingerboard edges, 22 jumbo frets, 25 ½” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, chunky “C” type neck profile, black Floyd Rose locking nut, black Gotoh tuners, walnut “skunk” stripe, and the truss rod adjustment at the headstock (no need to pull the neck for truss rod adjustments anymore !!!). These are basically the same spec’s as the original Charvel neck, except for the added bonus of the truss rod adjustment location at the headstock, and the beefy neck profile. For the neck profile, think more along the lines of a 50’s Les Paul, a Jackson PC1, or a Charvel Black and Yellow striped EVH from the first run, etc… Just want everyone to be aware this is not a super thin neck profile you would typically find on a Charvel. Those of you that favor a more substantial neck will certainly like this guitar. As stated previously, this is an officially licensed by Fender Musical Instruments Corp, high quality replacement neck manufactured by Musikraft here in the U.S.A. I am not trying to pass this neck off as a Charvel product, and I acknowledge that I applied the Charvel waterslide decal to this replacement neck which is a Musikraft product. This neck is basically in mint condition – Straight, not a scratch on it, and zero fret wear. Also add a FU-Tone brass sustain big block, shown in he picture. Body – The body is an all original made in U.S.A. Charvel San Dimas Style 1 HH with the following minor exceptions; I removed the original volume pot and volume knob, and installed a push/pull volume knob for splitting the coils on both humbucker. So you now have dual humbuckers with a 3 way switch with the pot down, or dual single coils with a 3 way switch with the pot pulled up. I installed a more traditional black knurled knob on the new pot as well. This is a popular mod which results in a more versatile guitar, yet is easily reversible. Both the original volume pot and knob will be included with the guitar if you would like to return it to its original configuration. Other than that and paint job, the body and all its components are 100% original to include, the genuine Floyd Rose Tremolo and arm, both Seymour Duncan Pickups and mounting rings, 3 way selector switch, neck plate and screws, output jack, and strap buttons. Now for a word about the condition of the body paint I did an EVH black and white finish and added some road worn smoothness on the paint finish, shown in the photos. It does not have a clear coat finish because I like the wood to breathe through the paint, yea like Eddie. It has never left my house as I don’t gig. I have tried to capture all the imperfections in the photos. The neck alone was close to $400.00!!! As it plays right now, the action may be a tad bit low for some (I prefer it that way), so a setup may be in order to tailor it to your own preference. Everyone’s got a chance. I do not have a case, Bid with confidence as I have a 100% positive feedback rating and guarantee the winner a professional transaction. BIDDERS WITH ZERO (0) FEEDBACK, OR EXCESSIVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK MUST CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING OR ELSE I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID. NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS OR SHIPPING FOR THIS ITEM PLEASE. Winning bidders pays for shipping via USPS ground. Please email me with any additional questions you may have. Guitar is 100% operational and plays fine, but due to the cosmetic flaws I have described, there will be no returns on this item. Thanks for looking and good luck.
