Up for sale is a great SBA Alto Saxophone, serial number 36108, year 1948, in near-perfect condition.I am the second owner of this beauty and have had it for nearly twenty years. The original owner of this horn played it for years and took very good care of it. They are no dents, dings or re-solder work done to this horn. The lacquer is original and is at about 75-80% remaining. There is lacquer wear in the usual spots (keys, thumb rest area, etc.). The neck is in great shape and has never been pulled down.I had this horn completely overhauled (a couple of months ago), so this horn will be ready to play right out of the box. Speaking of playing, this horn, as typical with vintage Selmer Saxophones, really speaks with a very sweet, direct and powerful sound.So there you have it. A great vintage horn listed at a reasonable price. This horn comes with a solid hard case in excellent condition. For the individual who decides to purchase this horn, I will take special care to ship it with the upmost care. BTW, shipping costs is free of charge.
