The topwood on this Collings OM1 Guitar is made from Baked Sitka Spruce, paired with mahogany back and sides. This combination is highly versatile for many playing styles. Baked Sitka can be played fingerstyle or with a flatpick and can excel at both. It is ideal for flatpickers who don't require the stiffness of Adirondack, offering more volume and responsiveness from a lighter touch. With the custom short scale, this guitar is virtually effortless to play and very hard to put down once you start playing. This Collings OM1 is simply appointed with Tortoise style binding, an ebony fretboard and headstock overlay, finished off with Nickel Waverly tuners.
