1964 Gibson EBO bass guitar . WOW! These basses are so few and far between and sought after and rarely for sale - which makes this very special. The bass comes with that so desirable patina and character that can only come about through years of playing and not via a relicing process in a custom shop. This is the real thing. This much loved short scale bass was the choice of , amongst others Jack Bruce of Cream and Andy Fraser of FREE! It has been customised by the retro fitting of a Dimarzio DP120 pickup with Dual sound wiring via an interior series parallel switch. It is alive with punch and thump and tone. Really this is a unique not-to-be-missed chance for a bass player. You will love the Elephant Ear tuners too. Condition The instrument has been checked over by our experienced guitar technician who reported that mechanically the instrument plays well. Aesthetically the instrument reflects 40 years of playing but this is the look which is becoming highly desired. The instrument comes with a case. Returns/Warranty If on initial inspection you are disappointed in any way, you may return it and receive a full refund within the first 14 days. You are most welcome to visit and test the instrument in our playing room prior to making a commitment. We will offer the instrument with a full mechanical warranty for three months, as is standard with second hand instruments, but only a limited cosmetic warranty. The cosmetic warranty is limited to significant issues.
