This is a one-owner guitar, bought new by me in 1986. Guitar is in excellent shape, all the beeps and whistles Carvin used to offer standard–Schaller bridge with fine tuners, Schaller tuners on the headstock, M22 pick-ups with coil splitters and phase switch, 3-way switch, stereo output jack and top-quality foil-lined wiring. I had the ebony fingerboard installed to replace the original maple one in about 1991, for no other reason than that I wanted ebony. It was extremely well done by Tucker Barrett in Southern Vermont, one of our finest luthiers and a noted violin maker. New jumbo frets at the time, of course, and they have very little wear. This guitar is very versatile, comfortable with everything from hard rock to smooth jazz. A player's axe, pure and simple. Original hardshell case, nicked and scuffed a little but that's why the guitar is in such great shape. Still have the key to the case and the original multi-tool that came with the guitar.
