Description Body Color: Black Model Year: 2005 String Configuration: 6 String Size: Full Size Brand: Gretsch Country/Region of Manufacture: Japan Body Type: Semi-Hollow Items Included: Case Dexterity: Right-Handed Features: Bigsby Body Material: Solid Wood
It is in fantastic condition with no scratches, marks or chips - I would describe the condition as 'almost new' the guitar has been in clean, dry and temperature controlled storage for the last 10 years and was only used on one studio project - hence it still has all its shop tags and case candy as pictured. There is a vey light surface patina to the metal pick-up covers which is standard for these guitars. There is no fret wear and no buckle rash at all. The guitar stays in tune perfectly and from the moment you pick it up you realise this is a quality instrument. The guitar also comes with a matching leather Gretsch strap and it's original Gretsch case. You can bid confidently that this is a well looked after instrument. It will ship in it's original gretsch box as well.Brilliant, edgy DynaSonic pickups with independent volume controls and a classic Gretsch Bigsby trem make this a hard-rocking retro rocket with voluminous vintage vibe. Mahogany body with multiple-bound arched maple top and bound ebony-stained rosewood fretboard on a mahogany neck add fabulous feel and singing sustain. Roller bridge and deluxe high-gear-ratio enclosed machines provide super stable tuning.George Harrison bought his used G6128T in Hamburg, Germany, and played it extensively during the Cavern era and on early Beatles recordings!
