Here we have a beautiful pair of English Horn and Oboe. Both are in need of restoration. The great thing is both of these beautiful wooden instruments are wonderful candidates for restoral. I've built clarinets, and a few oboes, but this was going to be my first attempt at an English Horn. I don't really have time to give to my hobby right now that I would like, and I would really love to see this pair refurbished / restored by a professional. I did clean and oil the barrel on the English horn with premium bore oil, and the wood is simply beautiful. I took a close up with the flash so you could see the rest of the wood on this English Horn could also be brought back to life. I also started on half of the oboe, but even the half I started needs finished. I really hope this ends up in the hands of an artist that can appreciate the beauty of playing through vintage instruments. My daughter currently plays a 1929 Buffet in the high school band. She and I both love that. :) I have a price on here, but make me an offer, I may take it. I just want to see this pair go to a good home. The Oboe comes with a case, but I never got a case for the English Horn. I see no obvious cracks in either of these instruments, and neither of them have ever been pinned for any cracks.
