This is a very nice and original 1973 Stratocaster in 3-tone Sunburst. The body is in beautiful shape with a very vibrant original finish that retains all it's color. There are just a few minor dings, but otherwise almost mint. The guitar weighs in at a comfortable 7 lbs. and 12 oz. Not a boat anchor like a lot of early 70s Strats. No extra routes or holes. The neck is one of the best early 70s necks I've played. It is a rare ( probably custom ordered ) nice deep rosewood fret board that plays like a dream. The standard fret board during this era was maple. This is a hard to find rosewood board in great shape ! The original frets have plenty of meat and with no buzzing or fretting out anywhere up and down the neck. It is a nice "D" shape that fits the hand well. Not narrow and not a baseball bat. Perfect ! It is date stamped "22 MAR 73 B." The head stock is pristine with the original "F" tuners, dual string trees, and a perfect decal. The three bolt neck plate reads 560088.The electronics, hardware, and plastic appear to all be original and in good shape. The bridge is in good shape and fully functional and includes the original trem bar ( or "whammy" bar ). No cracks in the pick guard. It is missing the back trem cover, but no biggie. And as with most vintage Strats, there is no "ash tray" bridge cover.I believe the volume and one of the tone pots were changed long ago as they don't look like the other tone pot that is date coded "137 7206." They all work fine. The pickups have the classic Strat tone and sound. They are all date coded " 18 5 73 " stamped in black ink on the gray bobbins. The neck pickup is a killer ! The readings are:Bridge P/U - 5.38
Middle P/U - 5.45
Neck P/U  -   8.42 !This is a great vintage Strat as a player or collector. It comes in it's original black tolex case in good shape. Please let me know if you have any questions.
GOOD  LUCK !!
