Carr Mercury 1x12 combo guitar amp. MINTThis amp was purchased new and directly from Carr in 2008. Serial #1096.MINT CONDITION- not a single mark or scratch on the amp. Used in my smoke-free home studio only. Never left the house. With the three-position boost switch and four position attenuator (8, 2, ½, 1/10 Watt) you can achieve any desired tone; clean, mild overdrive, heavy overdrive. It also responds great with pedals. For an 8-watt amp, it screams, with a tone you would expect from a point-to-point hand wired boutique amplifier built to the exacting specifications and craft of Steve Carr.I also spent just as much time playing at 2, ½, and 1/10 watt levels, all with similarly remarkable tone.
