Up for auction is a Miraphone 186 BBb Tuba with the numbers 3835 alongside the Miraphone label.
I never understood why someone took the garland off the bell, but it didn't affect the tone while I was using it.
All valves are quick in response and all slides move freely as should be expected.
It was cleaned with Simplegreen Sept of 2016 inside and out.
Dents. I heard it said once that the more dents a tuba has, the greater its character. If that's so, this tuba has tons of character.
I'll let the pictures provide that explanation.
The only reason I'm looking to let this tuba go is because I simply don't have time to play anymore.Revised 04022017: Added 2 pictures showing close up condition of inner bell.
