This lefty Scott Walker Santa Cruz electric is a great example of Scott’s expert guitar building skills combined with his artistry and exquisite eye for detail. This guitar is wonderfully balanced and light, with a sculpted swamp ash body, Scott’s signature set mahogany neck with the tenon extended down to the bridge pickup, allowing for better sustain and enabling the heel to be carved up into the body to allow comfortable access to the upper registers. This guitar also features a beautifully figured Brazilian rosewood fretboard and Scott’s “Doppler” mother of pearl position markers. The electronics include Seymour Duncan jazz series double coil pick-ups, an onboard passive effects loop, which allows your rack or pedals to receive the full output of the pickups before the guitar’s master volume, and be switchable from the guitar body using a second TRS cable. The guitar also has Scott’s signature active booster circuit with adjustable gain knob for dialing in some extra volume playing leads or driving your amp. The guitar has a beautiful, deep transparent scarlet finish, allowing the grain of the swamp ash to show through and one of Scott’s signature W carvings below the custom sculpted tailpiece.
