This 1992 rare Japanese beauty has an alder body and a 1 piece maple neck with a rosewood 24 fret board. burst finish with a tortoise shell pickguard is accentuated with chrome hardware. The rear pickup is a Ibanez vintage V6, the mid pickup is still the Ibanez S1 single coil and the neck is the vintage V6. The tremolo is the more traditional TZ sychronized that is similar to the ones found on Fenders. She is in great shape, sounds great, and plays smoothly. This is in overall very good shape, with minor finish dings. These are very hard to find with no ware. Being a guitar from 1993 means that the wood is well aged and the sustain is that much better. Quality and age are what make guitars worth more and sound better. I love these instruments, I have 3 need to make room so selling this one. The Viper neck is one of the best Ive ever played, has great tone and versatility. You gotta love it! Classic design with no Floyd Rose, which I favor. These are just great guitars, made by the great FujiGen craftsman, a great low cost Suhr alternative. The RT450 is an RT series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1992. The RT series are "retro" instruments based on the RG; instead of a locking tremolo and high-output pickups, they featured a more traditional appearance and sound. Alder body bolt on to maple Viper neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dotposition markers. Components include Ibanez pickups and a standard tremolo bridge. The RT450 was discontinued after 1993 along with the entire RT series.Body type:Solid bodyBody material:1992: AlderNeck joint:Bolt-onBridge:Standard tremoloHardware color:ChromePick guard: tortoise shellNeck type: ViperNeck material: 1-piece mapleFingerboard: RosewoodInlays: Pearl DotFrets:24 / regularPU Config: HSHBridge PU:Ibanez V6F (H)Mid PU:Ibanez RTS (S)Neck PU:Ibanez V6F (H)Controls:1 volume / 1 tone / 5-way lever
