This bassoon was purchased brand new in 2014 from Jim Kirker in Boston and has been used for only eight months, before a change of college plans. While the eight months it was used, it was absolutely babied - kept in a properly humidified room, always swabbed after usage, bocals cleaned biweekly, etc. The past year, it has been used every two months mainly as a quick tune up, and the keys re-oiled once in September 2015. The bassoon comes complete with two Fox Cvx Bocals (Sizes 2 and 3) as well as the original case, Weissenborn book, and the score for John William's Five Sacred Trees.
