Mayones wanted to do something special to celebrate their 35th anniversary. This is what they came up with. It is the pinnacle of their work. Master class artistry and top notch build quality. The best of the best! Showcased at the 2017 NAMM Show. Hand Made, Brand New, and the first of its kind featuring the legendary and VERY limited world stock of Quilted Mahogany over an exotic 11-piece exotic neck and pure White Limba body.
Old world craftsmanship lends a strong hand in producing the worlds finest guitars. Gaze at the intricate pattern that only a 5A quilted wood can bring forth. Typically seen on varieties of Maple, this Mahogany top showcases figuring only seen on rare occasion. Add the Birdseye Maple pickup covers and Birdseye Maple Schaller Hannes stop bar piece as well as finely crafted wooden dome knobs and you have a true work of art, but not only that, you have something that isnt normally available on a custom Mayones. Not only is this a guitar that simply looks original and unique, but it is also one that vibrates to a degree beyond that of your average guitar when plucked, and is a guitar with a top level attention to quality under the most scrutiny possible.
