For your consideration~ Own a rare piece of ESP history! Insanely cool and shred-tastic 1980s MIJ ESP Random Star in its original white finish that has faded somewhat to a beautiful off white finish. 2 awesome sounding humbuckers that have a slight michrophonic quality to them and help with getting pinch harmonics out. 3 way switch, single volume knob, early Flicker II tremolo I believe. Comes complete with its original ESP gig bag. This was a custom ordered guitar which includes original strap locks and guitar strap. The last picture is from the 1983 ESP Catalog showing some of their custom build options at the time. Year: 1980s. Model: Random Star Finish: White Case: Original ESP gig bag Weight: 7 pounds 7 ounces Condition: Overall in excellent condition less some honest play wear, some finish wear, and a crack on the volume knob. Also, the typical clear coat finish cracks by neck pocket. Modifications: Missing back plate, 2 additional holes on face of headstock from string tree. Comments: Cool and rare 1980s Japan built ESP Random Star. Thanks for looking!
