Very special 1947 Gibson L-7 acoustic archtop with heavy upgrades - meant to be played.- Flawless refret with vintage stainless steel frets. This chunky vintage neck feels amazing and even all over, almost like a new guitar - and you will never have to refret it again!- Waverly tuners - the best of the best, ultimate tuning stability- Custom cocobolo bridge made for a plain 3rd string - super rare on old guitars!- Magical acoustic sound from this all carved solid wood archtop- Comes with Hiscox Pro II hard case- Custom made Ebony floating pickguard with two full size Kent Armstrong handwound floating PAF humbuckers with master tone and volume and pickup switch underneath the pickguard. It's super solid and you probably won't find another L-7 with this pickup in the neck position because they are almost impossible to fit in. This one fits almost perfectly as the only frets that hit the pickup when played are the last 3 frets of the low E string which are almost impossible to reach anyway. These pickups sound amazing and are a great fit for this guitar. - Set up with D'Addario 12-60 electric strings and with flawless intonation and amazing action. Will come with a completely fresh set on it and an extra one. You will not find a vintage guitar anywhere that is set up and plays this well. This is one of the most comfortable, special guitars I've ever played and I'm sad to let it go. With this one you're getting all the magic of a 70 year old guitar plus all the comforts of a modern instrument. Perfect combination.
