This auction is for a rare Altec M11 system with the 21 capsule and the original power supply P518A the microphone and power supply works perfectly The microphone sounds great and when these are in good shape they stand anytime beside any neumann KM tube series (53,54,56)And this one is top shape ..the high and low freq. are very well balanced...no weird noise or hum...just perfect.....ive been using the microphone in studio application only and its great on anything the power supply silver capacitors had been changed for the exact same replacement years ago and the brown ones has new caps underneath... and a cannon XLR connector had been added to the PS in order to help it when we store it...very practical mod as the original had a 10 meters cable with an XLR plug which was a drag ..but not anymore The microphone itself is in mint condition or if you prefer like new......no scratchs no dents no paint chips ..just beautiful and the cleanest i ever ownIt wil served you for decade as all the capacitors that needed to be replaced has been changed...Capsule is the rare 21....not the 21D not the 21B. But the 21 which is a blend of both 21B and 21D it has the holes on top and also the slut on the side so you can close up and source without being muddy or used it as a room mic with a full sound ......mainly it works in all application ....I would say its like a very wide cardio with omni application tooThe tone is very good ..nice top end and lots of good low endIn my life i had a few of these....and this one is my very best and last i ownThe tube is a NOS and is very quiet and not microphonic...The mic and power supply are guarantee to be in perfect working condition and i giving the buyer a 96 hours (4 days) approval upon reception of the microphoneIt comes with its original power supply,cable ( which has a mount on it) microphone with its own caseAll in perfect working conditionThe little table mic stand in the picture is not included...i used it only to picture the mic on a standIf for any reasons you want to return it you need to let me know within 96 hours upon reception with an email buyer will be responsable for the shipping and insurance both ways....Shipping cost is only approx as its very hard to know in advance so please avoid it as it may be less or more depending on the destination and carrierThe microphone is in Montreal and will be ship from here ..i tried to changed it on the auction but its creating problem with the shipping and i had to leave it this way in order to be able to list it...For US buyers the papers will be filled in order for you to have no additional cost or duty to pay..as this is a made in USAShipping and insurance are the buyer's responsabilityIf you need additional pix just let me know or you can also call me between 9 and 6 pm eastern time514-276-6789
