This is one of my favorite all-time guitars! This is a late 1962/early 1962 Gibson Les Paul (SG) Junior. It still has a deep, vibrant cherry red color. It also has the much more desirable angled stop-bar tailpiece found on the older, 1950's models, made of light aluminum. It has incredible tone and sustain. The playability is impeccable. It came from the factory without any vibrola, which is ideal since most players never use the it. The fretboard has some minor divots from playing, but the frets are still good. At some point, the tuners were replaced and they were slightly larger and it put stress on the treble side of the peghead, which resulted in a slight stress fracture that has been professionally repaired with two small dowels, and barely visible. The original tuners were reinstalled. This will make the guitar more affordable and the repair is of no consequence now. The neck heel is perfectly intact, The neck profile is a wide, slim contour with a 1.7" nut width. There is checking and nicks and dings. The jack area has a slight crack, but it's not an issue. I have multiple photos for an accurate visual presentation. It comes in the original faux gator soft case.I ship international
