2012 Fender®/Musikraft® American Vintage® '64 Telecaster® ❘ ☛Maple Cap ('Thin C-Shape Neck Profile')☚ ❘
☞ '59-'64 Pickguard + Orig. 1960's Case Candy ☜ I am offering my customized Fender® American Vintage® '64 Telecaster® (built 2012) in See-Through Blonde for sale at a fair price. Since Maple Cap necks were previously only available in the Fender® Custom Shop® I decided to get in contact with Musikraft® (USA). So I could have a neck made according to my wishes and needs. I am very impressed with the work and the accuracy (eg sharp headstock edges like original Tele's of the pre-CBS era). The body, including hardware and electronics, is 'all-stock' like on purchase, except for the pickguard: the three-layer (white / black / white) was replaced by a single-layer 8-hole from WD®. The neck plate has a personalized serial number (L3xxxx). The Fender / Kluson® single-line tuners have been removed from the original rosewood neck. The body has several slight varnish plaques, otherwise the condition is optimal and with naturally aged patina. The fingerboard has minimal traces of paint loss (this thin laquer by Gitarren-Total in Zurich ensures an authentic abrasion). For technical data about guitar and neck see below. A very nice and rare version of the A.V. '64 Tele. The Gray-Bottom Singlecoils give this Tele® this unique, snarling Maple Cap sound .. warm and with lots of volume. Comes with ashtray bridge cover, gray re-issue cable, cleaning cloth and accessories in envelope: Manual HangTag, Wiring diagram with associated Allen key and condenser for conversion. In addition to the guitar, vintage case candy like a 50's / 60's Bobby Lee "Western Git-R Strap" leather strap, a Hootenanny fabric strap from Japan and two rare Switchcraft coil cables, all from the 1960s are included.
