Vintage 1959 Gibson Melody Maker project guitar. No parts or hardware included - except the original nut, which is still attached to the guitar. Comes with an old (non-original) hard black shell case as shown in the photos. This vintage guitar husk is in really nice shape. No breaks, no cracks, no repairs anywhere to the wood - has never had a headstock repair, has never had a neck joint repair - this guitar is extremely solid. The top of the body (only) was once painted over in gold, and then later painted over in red, over the top of the gold. But the rest of the guitar's finish is all original: neck, headstock, and back of the body. One of the small dot inlays for the fretboard is missing. Original frets showing expected wear. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fretboard in very nice shape. Nice thick, chunky neck profile, measuring about 0.90 inches at the first fret. No playability problems or issues - just a great old guitar husk.
