Description
Brand: Excelsior

I am the original owner of this rare amplifier.  It has a total of 4 inputs for guitar and/or accordion.   It is a stereo amplifier with a total of 5 speakers and a reverb which is available on both channels. Included is the original reverb and tremolo footswitch and the stereo cable for an Excelsior accordion.    The amplifier is in very good condition, very little corrosion, it has been stored in a dry dehumidified basement.  The case has some minor wear and tear but is very presentable.  It has not been used in a long time.  As with most vintage electronics, the amp probably needs to have the electrolytic capacitors replaced, there is a bit of hum.  The potentiometers are noisy and need cleaning, as with most vintage electronics.  I have the original schematics for it.The amplifier has been tested with a guitar and appears to work fine, all inputs work.   However, it is sold as-is.   The buyer is welcome to try it out in person.Check out the review in Vintage Guitar MagazineAvailable for pickup in South Windsor, CT or I will deliver or meet you within 100 miles of Hartford.Shipping is a flat $200 in the continental US.   I will ship in 3 boxes -- amplifier in one, chassis with transformers in a separate box and the reverb unit and tubes in a 3rd box.   Insurance would be an extra $15.
