1978 Fender Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar with Bill Lawrence L500 PAF

This 1978 Fender Telecaster is all vibe but she's not without her fair share of some rock and roll battle scars. This is a one owner tele and was his everyday player for many years. There are markings and checkings along the neck and body, and the tone control and the original 3-way toggle switch are missing knobs. The hole for one of the control plate mounting screws is stripped out and will require some filling. The original potentiometers were swapped out at some point to DiMarzio 500K. The pickguard is original but along the way to moddifing the guitar to pay homage to legend, Keith Richards, the previous owner routed the pickguard as well as neck pickup cavity to accommodate the addition of the Bill Lawrence L-500 pickup (measuring a resistance at 7.27). To keep in line with the mods he did to mimic the infamous "Micawber", the previous owner dropped in a 6 saddle modern style bridge. This guitar is extremely light weight, resonate, oozes vibe, and handles any style we throw at her.
