A very fine French certified violin bow by Andre Richaume, ca.1930, SUPERB!
A very fine French certified violin bow made by Andre Richaume ca. 1930for Victor Fetique, branded "Vtor FETIQUE A PARIS". Andre Richaume was a great master with a very consistent, fine level of bows that he produced. It is not a coincident that one of the greatest soloists, David Oistrakh used bow made by Richaume as his favorite during the last period of his performances.
This is very fine, SOLOIST'S LEVEL violin bow in excellent state of preservation.
The stick is dark brown pernambuco, round, strong with excellent balance/handling and a wonderful sound. The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 73.1 cm and the weight of the bow is 61 g.
