- Electric Guitorgan w/ SKB Case & Extras Guitorgan Weight: 10.5 lbs Includes: Power cord, SKB molded flight case with green plush liner and keys- possibly the best case available , and an Oasis humidifier. These items are in very good condition. Guitar features: Hollow body, set neck. Sunburst finish with double cutaways. Gold tone, cast metal tuners operate smoothly and stay in tune. Bridge, saddles, and tailpiece are all in good condition. Volume and tone pots work smoothly and deliberately. An occasional scratch noise is to be expected.Organ function features: All of the voice switches and the other toggle switches DO work. The pickguard mute switch is a bit loose, but also works. The "temporary un-mute" button on the pickguard also works. Features 8 voices that can be blended in any combination, a Low/high register switch, a 2-setting vibrato, and an adjustable sustain. Note that when the "low" register is switched on, some higher pitched voices don't participate any more. This is by design. I was able to get all notes to sound, but noticed a few of the times It was powered on, the B1 and the C2 will occasionally cut out. Also sometimes a "Buzz" comes out of it when powered on. A gentle whack on the back clears up these problems. Likely a loose solder joint is in there somewhere. It was working as it should when it was put back in the case just prior to listing, but be aware that these problems may present again. Would have originally came with a volume pedal. Any modern volume pedal will do, and be much more portable too) With the age and the nature of the extreme complexity of this instrument, there is no guarantee offered on the full flawless functionality, or the continued functionality. It has been described to the best of our ability. Continued operation can not be made a guarantee with purchase. No returns please. Thank you for your understanding. Overall Cosmetics and wear: Missing the bottom strap button, and the plastic end from the pickup selector knob. Some general lacquer chips, scratches, etc, and usual signs of vintage aging (particularly on bottom edge, please see photos). Cosmetically quite good actually. Cracking in the heel joint lacquer (where the guitar neck is glued to the body). About 1/64" (hairline) of separation at the extreme back edge. The lacquer cracks stop about an inch in towards the front. Not a recent occurrence, and nothing is coming apart. (Get a good picture of that). The 10th and 11th fret have significant wear under the D string. This comes together to give a buzz to the C# note on the D string in guitar mode, and a dissonant double-stop in organ mode for the 10-12 frets. Guitar action and playability other than that are good, but the slots in the nut are worn down, and it would benefit from a new nut or a shim. Dual 1/4" output jacks allow you to play just the standard guitar, just the organ, or mix them together.
