For Sale is a very rare piece, it is 2 channels of a 1981 Trident 80B console (broadcast version) which consists of two Microphone Preamplifiers and two legendary original 80B EQ's. And because it is the broadcast version it has both the original input transformers but also the original Jensen output transformers. I am the original owner (in its present racked version) and have always been very gentle with this unit, as such it is in excellent physical condition. It is also in perfect operating condition with no issues whatsoever. If you are looking at this listing you probably know the history of the Trident 80B consoles, these are some of the best sounding micpre's and EQ's ever made, and I will reiterate these are not clones but the original 1981 channels taken from a working console and racked into this very attractive red enclosure. The VU meters incorporated into this unit are working properly and as they should.
