What makes this bass special:  100% original with a super cool, well-played, true vintage look!  This was obviously someone's go-to bass as evidenced by all the wear & tear it's sustained over the years - totally bad ass!  Low action & killer tone ensure this beast will live on in the hands of its next owner.  Don't miss out on great opportunity to pick up a piece of Rickenbacker history.Cosmetic Condition:  Lots of good honest play wear from years of being on the road - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, buckle rash, weather checking & finish wear, particularly on the back of the body & neck.  The bass has a great vibe to it & shows off a gorgeous patina.Neck:  Slender profile maple & walnut neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots.  Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl "shark tooth" inlays.  Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them.  Open-back nickel tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 11/16" nut width; 33 1/4" scale length.Body:  Neck-thru design with solid maple wings.  Top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles.  Single-ply white plexi pickguard.  Bass weighs 8 lbs 11.9 oz.Pickups:  Rickenbacker Hi Gain single coils.  Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch; mono & stereo outputs.  All electronics are in good working condition.Case:  Rickenbacker hardshell case included, however, for some reason a previous owner glued a Fender logo to the outside of the case.  Go figure.
