Here's a beautiful Fender USA Strat Gold Elite circa 1983. These guitars were only offered for about two years. They were the successors to THE STRAT model and incorporate active electronics, push button pickup selectors, upgraded tuners, and unique FreeFlyte tremolo. The bottom line: A super high quality instrument with great playability and tone.Most of these guitars are black or off white. This example is ultra rare Translucent Emerald. (The color is actually a rich emerald green, not the bluish color in the pics - darn digital cameras!). The figuring of the ash body is very consistent and bold, which you don't often find with this model.The gold hardware is another uncommon feature - most of these are chrome.Condition-wise, it is very clean but has light play wear you might expect of a carefully played used guitar.Includes the very-hard-to-find original gold tremolo bar as shown.The case is the original brown molded ATA case. All latches and hinges work fine, but cosmetically it is a bit rough.
