1957 Fender Champ Tweed Vintage Tube Amplifier Pre-CBS Class A 5F1 Circuit

This particular Champ has been well cared for over the decades and is stocked with an era correct Oxford 8" speaker which has just ben freshly reconed. The tube chart boasts unfaded paper, crisp corners, and a clear "GE" date stamp which translates to May of '57.The circuit has been serviced and professionally recapped, and the preamp boasts one yellow Astron capacitor and one blue Ajax cap for good measure. Both transformers are original, and the chassis itself boasts a chrome faceplate with a mirror sheen and all of the original white lettering (stock chicken head knob too!). The original Stackpole pot dates to the 3td week of 1957.Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed shows some minor scuffs and wear around the corners, but overally the tweed looks quite good, with original nailed in feet and even the original leather handle! Both back panels are original and the baffle has been regrilled with the correct oxblood cloth with gold stripe.This Champ is cool as can be with a well maintained circuit, Oxford speaker, fresh tubes and stock lacquered tweed covering.
