What makes this guitar special:  These don't come up very often, but when they do they move very quickly, so here's a great opportunity to own a special piece of Gretsch history.  This gorgeous 6120 sports all the great hallmarks that made this particular model highly sought after - single cutaway, deep body with real F-holes; horseshoe headstock logo, zero fret, V cutout Bigsby & a pair of PAF FilterTron humbuckers that sound absolutely amazing!  This dynamite player has been professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's guaranteed to play & sound fantastic. Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with just a couple of minor "issue areas" to note.  First, there is a filled hole near the two toggle switches.  Not exactly sure what was going on there, but it appears the previous owner may have had a third toggle switch or perhaps a tone knob in place, then removed it & had the hole filled.  The second issue is there were different tuners on the guitar at one time as evidenced by the "footprints" left behind on the front & back of the headstock.  They appear to have been Klusons judging by the imprints.  Outside of these two fairly minor cosmetic issues, the guitar looks fabulous & shows only mild play wear throughout - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, light weather checking & some finish wear along the neck.  Overall the guitar has a wonderful look to it with a gorgeous patina.Neck:  Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & red side-dots.  Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays.  Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them.  Bound headstock with pearloid Gretsch & Horseshoe inlays.  Original Grover Sta-Tite tuners are back on the guitar & are in perfect working condition.  The gold has tarnished somewhat, but that only adds to the true vintage charm of the guitar.  1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod is functioning.Body:  Single-cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes.  Two-ply bound top, back & F-holes.  V-cutout Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge.  Gold plexi pickguard with Chet Atkins fence post & Gretsch logos.  There is a crack in the guard, but this is purely cosmetic & does not affect playability.  16" lower bout width; 2 1/2" depth.  Guitar weighs 7 lbs 8.6 oz.Pickups:  Original Gretsch Patent Applied For FilterTron humbuckers with gold bezels.  Both bezels show some minor cracks, but no bits missings.  Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs.  3-way pickup & tone selector switches; all electronics are in perfect working condition.Case:  Original Gretsch "cowboy" hardshell case included.  The case shows a bit of wear & tear on the outside, but is in great shape overall.
