Gibson Custom Shop USA Q series electric guitar, red from the mid 1980's. Apparently these were Gibson's answer at the time to the popular Kramer Guitars, with the pointy headstocks of electric guitars common to the hair metal era of the 80's. Greta action very comfortable and fast neck. These were a Gibson Custom shop offering and this model I believe was the Custom Shop Q3000. Not many of these were manufactured by Gibson, a limited run of a few hundred actually made of the Q 3000? This Gibson Q series vintage guitar has the Kahler Flyer locking tremolo installed, this was a Gibson Custom Shop factory install. This guitar has 3 single coil p90 soapbar pickups, and one volume and one tone knob. 22 frets is decent shape and a straight set neck and the tuners are Grovers. Players guitar with nice low action. Overall pretty good shape for a 32 year old guitar. It does have some nicks and rash. I tried to take photsgraphs from multiple angles. No tremelo/whammy bar. The original hard shell case is included. The Gibson HSC is in decent condition, and this guitar will be well packed. The string tension can be unlocked and relaxed before shipping, if buyer requests this. This guitar will be shipped in a sturdy guitar shipping box with additional packing materials, and insured for the full final sale value. Shipping to the continental USA only. Payment via paypal due within 5 days of action end. All sales final.l be shipped U.S ground with tracking.
