Up for sale here is an SWR Baby Blue II combo amplifier. This amplifier was part of the SWR "Studio Reference Series" amps, and likely the hardest one to find used since they stopped making them years ago. This little combo sounds amazing. I have used it for Studio Work on many records, and also as a nice hi-fi Bass practice amp. It features a tube preamp section, and a solid state 160 Watt power amp section. The cab contains a very nice long throw 10" driver combined with a tweeter. This combo has many great features. You can turn the tweeter off or reduce the tweeter output by 6 db. You can also run the head stand alone, and switch the cabinet output off all together. This is a nice feature when using the amplifier direct for Studio work. The tone of this head truly shines for recording, and this is absolutely what makes this little combo so sought after. See the pictures for the other great features the preamp section has to offer. A three band semi-parametric EQ, Aural Enhancer, and Effects Blend pot set this leagues above many tube preamps for Bass amplification today.
