Guild M-80 Excellent condition! Carved maple top with 24-fret ebony board!

1981 Guild M-80 solid-body electric guitar. Mahogany body with gorgeous carved maple top like a Les Paul, but with 2 piece maple neck and 24-fret ebony fretboard and brass nut! Beautiful purplish wine-colored burgundy finish! Features two Guild XR-7 pickups which I believe were made by DiMarzio for Guild. They are very high-output and versatile sounding - they are very capable of heavy rock/metal but also can sound brighter than most high-output humbuckers. Phase switch also adds even more sparkle if desired. Very low action, thin fast neck, and no fret buzz. I would easily put this guitar against any Les Paul in regards to solidity and sustain - it is one dense piece that's for sure! The only slight issue is (as shown in last pic) - apparently the guitar fell directly on its bottom strap pin years ago, probably from the hanger in a guitar shop. This "hammered" the pin in slightly deeper. There is also a slight crack in the finish that I am not convinced was necessarily caused by this (see pic). I can find no breach of structural integrity and in all the years I have had it, I have never had any issues at all from this, and so deem it cosmetic only. Almost zero fret wear as shown. If you've ever wondered what one of these are like, you'll be very impressed with the quality, craftsmanship, and extremely solid feel and tone of this guitar! You'll be a Guild electric guitar fan! Comes with gray flock-lined hardshell case. Thanks for looking!
