Peerless PSJ-65CE Acoustic Electric Super Jumbo Guitar HoneyburstUp for auction is my awesome Peerless acoustic-electric guitar.  This beauty grabbed me with all the these attractive features:
- Super Jumbo 17" body
- Flamed Maple sides and back with maple neck and solid spruce top
- Archback design boosts projection
- Beautiful honeyburst
- Fishman Prefix Plus Preamp with highly accurate built-in chromatic tuner
- Double Parallelogram fret markers
- Gold plated hardware
- Ornate rosewood bridge
- 3-ply binding.
- Very comfortable neck (C shape), straight as an arrow with great action
- Fantastic original hard shell case, with five latches and the most comfortable handle I've seen
- 25.5 scale
- 1.69" nut widthThis is truly the top-of-the-line flagship of the Peerless acoustic family.  The attention to detail is a joy to experience.  The guitar and case are in superb condition - well cared for, lightly gigged (church, living room jams, etc.) and kept in a smoke-free humidity-controlled home.  I'm not sure what year it was made but I acquired it second-hand in 2012.  If the serial number provides a clue it may be 2008.  The only issue is that the previous owner installed a strap button into the upper bout near the neck.  The wood there is simply too thin for this duty, which led to it always being loose and possibly threatening the integrity of the wood.  I relocated the button to the neck heel and filled the small hole with wood glue.  It's not overly noticeable and does not affect the tone or playability (pictured).I love, love, love this guitar and would take it to my grave but, if I'm going to get that Taylor I have my eye on, it has to go.  And . . . that's what I set out to do: own some nice guitars for a while, and move them out and try different brands.  Please be a guitar lover who will give this sweetheart a loving home and the care and respect to which she's become accustomed. If you have any questions, please ask.Good luck and happy bidding.
