A very fine French certified bass bow made by Emile August Ouchard ca. 1930. E.A. Ouchard was one of the greatest French bow makers of 20th century. His bows are among the best and most beautiful made in artistic way with great talent.
This is excellent example of the maker's work in a superb state of preservation including an original winding.
The stick is red brown pernambuco, octagonal, strong with a perfect balance and a superb tonal quality. The length of the stick is 68 cm and the weight is 129 g.
